127 - Founded in 2001 by a group of young Tehran artists and art students, 127 has found itself at the
center of progressive cultural change in Iran. The band's music melds Iranian melodies and jazz with an alternative sound.
The band's lyrics tell of the frustrations and joys of life, somehow managing to speak of their cultural time and place, while
simultaneous reflecting universal frustrations of isolation, frustration, and hope.
Hypernova - Now Iran is not too famous for its rock music, but these guys are going to change all that. Each
member brings a different vibe and sound to the band to give it an even more unique edge. And even though they're just another
obscure band in the galaxy of musicians, their following is growing at a very fast rate, thanks mostly to their legions of underground
fans who have helped spread the word. - NOX Magazine Oct 2006
Lily Electric - Indie-artrock band from Denmark, at the moment resident in Berlin. The band started in spring 2005
and made their first recordings during the summer for the EP "lily electric" which they released in October 2005. Lily Electric was nominated
for an P3-Guld award ( National Radio/TV-show) in Denmark in the category "The Talent". They moved to Berlin in September 2006 and
began work on their Debut Album, which is set to be released in MARCH 2008. Let's see what the future will bring......
Menwhopause - One hot summer night, five years ago, a couple of friends got together and penned
down their thoughts into music. What they never realized was that it was the making of one of the most sought after and
revered bands in India. Ever since, menwhopause has been slowly but steadily setting benchmarks in
India's music scene most importantly as being one of the first bands to have stuck to playing only original music and
concentrating on the art of songwriting.
Mockinpott - From the darkest streets of the big cities to the arid deserts of the Middle East... This Monterrey, Mexico
rock & roll band is the first to put out an EP that blends the sounds of synthesizers and "screamin' guitars" influenced by the Kids, T.S.O.L., and
the Pegamoides. In an era which the mainstream has us acustomed to over-polished synthesizers, Mockinpott proves that there is still much
more juice to squeeze out of old analog instruments from second hand stores. If you like punk and new wave, you have got to hear them now!
Stuka - STUKA is hard working, self-managed band from the main industrial center in Pancevo, Serbia.
The major influences are American garage rock, late 60's psychedelia and some New Wave elements, particularly the
Yugoslav New Wave of the early 80's. STUKA worked as a trio until end of 2006, when a new singer joined the band.
Telerama - It started in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil as a duo with some electronic flavour and ended as a rock band.
A little bit nerd, a little bit pop, but still a rock band. Their influences include The Cardigans, Blur, Ben Kweller, and The Wannadies. This is Telerama.
