Polly Mackey & The Pleasure Principle
"After watching Polly MacKey's sound check it was apparent to me that she must have the word "talent" written through her like a stick of rock, the
sheer quality of her song writing and her amazing voice are the first thing that strike you about this girl... I have to admit if this is the sort of quality
song writing she is able to produce at 18, it's frightening to think just how good she may become."
- Andy Von Pip, Alt Sounds
From: Liverpool, UK
Genre: Indie, Alternative
Touchstones: Chan Marshall, Beth Orton, The Kills

Grounded In Music was founded in Austin, Texas,
the "Live Music Capital of the World," and has been inspiring children to turn to music since
Summer 2007. It has quickly become the signature program at the Boys And Girls Clubs of the Capital Area's East location. Instruction by great
musicians is offered to Grounded in Music participants in guitar, drums, keyboards, hip hop, and songwriting. Thanks to a great relationship with
The Recording Academy and music industry professionals, Grounded in Music
has brought Grammy-winning artists into the Club to share their music and experiences with our children and to highlight the positive impact music
has made on their lives. Our kids are also taken out of the Clubs and given "back stage" access to the music industry including production,
recording, and touring events.

Latinitias is a non-profit organization focused on informing,
entertaining, and inspiring young Latinas to grow into healthy, confident, and successful Latinas. Their mission is to empower Latina youth through
media and technology, with the guiding vision that all Latinas are strong and confident in their image. There is a particular urgency regarding Latina
girls. According to the National Health Institute, they are placed at the highest risk amongst their peer groups for a susceptibility to teenage pregnancy,
drug abuse, health issues such as obesity and a drop in grades and confidence on the cusp of entering high school. Currently, the Hispanic population
in the United States has become the largest and fastest growing minority group. About a third of the nation's Hispanics are under the age of 18 and
one in five teens in the United States (20 percent) is of Hispanic descent.
