Dart Music International Embassy
An embassy is usually associated with a building where diplomatic officers work and represent the interests of their people. Every month in 2010, we are turning The Parish into the official embassy for all the people of Dart Music International - our artists, allies, ambassadors, and you!
This is an opportunity to learn more about our organization and upcoming programs, hear music from our bands, catch great live performances from
our touring international artists and/or outstanding local artist Ambassadors, and to meet some of our Allied music-related organizations.
Admission is only $5 ($8 for under 21) and FREE with your
Backstage Pass VIP card.

The Ganjas (12:00)
"Within the stream of rock bands around, there is certainly one that stands out for their sound exploration and having a unique concept that has
converted them in to the ultimate reference of 'independent rock': The Ganjas. The band even surprised British rock band Oasis."

Intimate Stranger (11:00)
"With front lady Woodgate singing and on bass, Lautaro Vera on guitar, Mauricio Muņoz rocking the drums and Ismael Palma pouring over the
keyboard, Intimate Stranger is a complete and talented team ready to intoxicate any listener. Somewhere between the rock and female vocals of the
Kills and the inviting voice of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Intimate Stranger tends to break barriers when it comes to labeling them with a genre."
- Derek Lactaoen, Revolver

Casino (10:00)
"In a world where national rock appears more scattered than ever, Casino is definitely an exception. It has a clean, deep, dense and sonic sound and an
atmosphere that feels like lava. Surely one of the best records of the year."
- Alejandro Alalui, Rolling Stone

L.Stadt (9:00)
"Great pop songs. Hang on a second! - Is this actually Pop? But what is the definition of Pop? If it's melodic music which is easy on the ear, presented in
an accessible, short format - then it can be described as Pop... Intentionally rough around the edges, reminiscent of a demo CD sound. Hats off to the band
for this decision. On the L.Stadt album every song sounds different."
