"With an explosive debut album as well as countless gigs, festivals and support slots under their belts, St Deluxe have bottled and distilled their sound ready to unleash it on the world. Think Dinosaur Jr, My Bloody Valentine, Teenage Fanclub and a whole host of other noiseniks updated for 2010. Ear-bleedingly loud and ready for SXSW - get them while their hot!"

Grand Atlantic
Grand Atlantic

Grand Atlantic
Grand Atlantic blends the ethereal ambiance reminiscent of the time when "bands like Teenage Fanclub, the Posies, Redd Kross and Velvet Crush made power pop with enough sonic muscle to rival the grunge band." (Underneathica) Their power-pop prowess layered with a swaggering rhythm section, crunchy riffs and chiming, Byrds-esque guitars, welds seamlessly to robust pop songs with instantly-memorable choruses. How We Survive found the band working with award-winning Australian producer Magoo (Midnight Oil) and the USA Network using "Holding Pattern" off the album in a six week summer campaign.

Tone
Kristian and Sofie

Tone
"Musically, ... Sofie Nielsen creates a remarkable audiovisual realm in which her light and spell-binding voice adds to a bedrock of crunchy break beats, abstract compositional structures and melodic sounds and samples... Tone's live performance is a spectacular experience. Accompanied by VJ Kristian Ravn Ellestad, the two blend together in an audiovisual symbiosis accentuating the moods of Tone's emotionally charged music."
