Beyond Persia Beyond Persia is dedicated to the promotion of the Arts & culture of Iranian diaspora. Iranian artists of all kinds, painters, designers, musicians, writers, and filmmakers are celebrated here, beyond Persia, in the hopes of helping bridge the culture gap existing between our rich history and the new homes in the host nations of millions of displaced Iranians before and since 1979. Art serves as a wonderful platform for this mission as both message and the medium can be universally understood and built upon to benefit the greater good.

Their services range from online marketing consulting and web design to organizational process improvement, database deployment, and custom web application development. They're based in Austin, Texas, but work with organizations nation-wide.

 

Gene Butler Gene Butler is an experienced full-service events production and management professional. Based in Austin, Gene has worked with events from across the United States. Among his events over the past year, he served as the Volunteer Manager for Maker Faire in Austin, Transportation Coordinator for the World Series of Golf in Las Vegas, and Secret Service Crew Chief for South by Southwest Conferences and Festivals in Austin. Although based in Austin, Texas, Gene Butler has the expertise to work on events anywhere in the world.

 

HAAM The mission of the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) is to provide access to affordable health care for Austin's low income, uninsured musicians, focusing on prevention and wellness. Austin is the "Live Music Capital of the World," yet many professional working musicians are self-employed and rarely have access to health insurance. Without insurance, they can't afford preventive health care, including primary medical care, basic dental services and mental health counseling.

 

The Still Recording Studio The Still Recording Studio was created in 2000 by Douglas Ferguson in order to provide a comfortable and inspiring environment for artists to create great music without sonic comprises. We use both analog and digital equipment to achieve the highest quality in your recording. We are proud to have some of the most talented engineers in Austin. Not only will you be thrilled with the results of your recording but you'll have a great time in the process. Tamizdat Tamizdat is a nonprofit organization that is committed to fostering the free exchange of information and ideas between artists, audiences, and industry. Tamizdat works to build international communities by bridging the cultural and economic gaps that separate American and Western Europe from Central and Eastern Europe. To do this, Tamizdat has created an interlocking program of projects aimed at providing the foundations and the framework for cultural cross-pollination between artists, music industry personnel, and most importantly, between audiences everywhere.

 

TALA Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts (TALA) was formed in 1979 to meet the legal and accounting needs of artists and nonprofit organizations, and is the largest provider of pro bono legal and accounting services to the arts in the United States. TALA provides free legal and accounting services to arts nonprofits and artists from all creative disciplines, including visual artists, musicians, actors, dancers, film makers and writers. Over 600 attorneys andaccountants donate their time to artists and nonprofit organizations who are unable to afford professional services.

 

Save Austin Music The Year of Austin Music / Save Austin Music is a not-for-profit organization that promotes Austin music and its relationship with our musicians, audiences and local business and political communities. Save Austin Music is a grassroots community organization comprised of members of Austin's music industry. Our goals are to mobilize Austinites to see one Austin band each month; to revive and restructure Austin's music industry and create fair working wages for all employed within it; to create a working relationship with our City and State government that allows for the growth of our industry and support of policies and laws that help our local businesses flourish; and to be actively participants in our community and its various organizations
